October 24, 2026 marks twelve years since the line-of-duty deaths of Sacramento County Deputy Danny Oliver and Placer County Detective Michael Davis Jr., producer Ken Bator sits down with Scott J. Brown for a candid conversation about trauma, healing, faith, and life after tragedy.

Scott reflects on the nightmares and emotional challenges he faced, the role therapy and communication played in strengthening his marriage and family, and why sharing his story through the Facing Evil book, podcast, and speaking engagements has become a personal calling. He also discusses the importance of seeking help, supporting first responders and their families, and honoring the memories of the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The conversation closes with Scott’s hopes for retirement, continued advocacy, travel, and a possible future book exploring life through the eyes of law-enforcement families.
